i know people that are immagrant and i see them suffer every time. most people come to the united states to work and get really money i once asked my father wat is the minume wage and he told me they make up to $100 and a week. he told me its hard working out their compare to rite here in the unted states the jobs that we say are not worth it pay more than wat people get paid in mexico.i know so mane people that have got separeted from their families.

They also said that they should not worry about the goverment,that the goverment should worry about them. A 6th grader in the video was saying that people might think there imagrants, but he was born here and grew up in the U.S that he dont like how they treat the imagrants bad, by seperating them of there family &make them leave.

ReplyDeleteWell illegal immigrants have to leave their family and have to find jobs that pay very cheap and for legal latinos their jobs are taken from immigrants and they can get mistaken for immigrants and people judge them.
ReplyDeleteone of my moms friends was an immigrant she had kids because she thought if she had kids in America she could stay but the lanlord who lived there thought she was an immigrant so she called the immigration police and she was deported. Most mexican do believe this and when they get deported it is very hard for the legal kids.
To what I have seen in this video is that people in Mexico do not like to be called immigrants. There was a 6 grader and said that he doesn’t like this one called the 1070 law which talks about immigration, that he’s scared about what’s going to happen to him and his family that one day he could be riding his bike and they would probably ask for his id or something and most likely call him an immigrant. To my personal experience immigrants are messed up in there cities or whatever part of Mexico. People are killing each other in Mexico for no reason. Also I know that people from Mexico are coming to Illinois, Chicago for more opportunities like more jobs.

And the family’s they are protesting about immigration law and the kids are protesting about the kids immigration. And and the police are getting the people when they try to cross the united states but the police see the peoples crossing the united states the police arrest them and they put them handcuff. People are saying they born in Mexico and the police say if the people born Mexico they reported back to they states were they came from. And the kid was saying that his family born in the united states but the police think they are immigrants because they skin colors and they language……
In this video it talks about how immigration is being attacked by the 1070 law. Also that latinos that were born in the United States are being confused with imigrants even though they're not. If you are born here nobody should be saying that your an immigrant.They are not illegal because they have papers to prove that they were born here. People shouldn't judge if they don't know if what they are saying is true.

Well only some and I think they are illigal because some don't have papers and they are being critisized because of their color of skin. What I saw in the video was a boy that was talking about how he's scared that the immigration would get him just because of his color and I saw a two women who were working and that they didn't need the help of the government that the government needs help from them.

Adults can't go to work, they come for work so that there kids get better lives then what they had. People are effected because, they can't vote or get a job, or buy a house, or get financial aid because there immagrants. They don't have as many oppertunities as other people who work here.

That why it is very important that the dream act gets passes, so immigrants under 16 can get scholarships for school. ReplyDeleteI think it is bad of the migra to come and just take people back to Mexico like if the immigrants haven’t made a home in the U.S.. It is wrong to take people back because the people are trying to survive. It affects families badly because it terse people apart from their families. The little kids sometimes never see their parents again. Only the lucky ones get to see their parents again, and that is in about 5 or more years. My cousin once came but la migra took him back to Mexico.

Parents are forced to struggle to get a job, discrimination , and feed their children. I feel that children are most affected because they are in the middle of it all. If you are legal or not legal you can’t do anything to help your parents. You’re stuck and you feel terrible that you can’t do anything to help… just like I do. Being illegal usually prevents parents from getting a good job thus not able to feed their family and of course can’t pay any bills. I also feel that immigration makes a family stronger because it tightens the bond in tough times. Immigration as well as destroy it.

Latinos both legal and illegal are affected by immigration because they are afraid that they might get stopped and, asked for an I.D. which is something they wont have. So they will be stopped even though their legal. Just because of their racial profiling,they are assumed to be illegal. Then the ones that aren't legal will get deported.Another reason why Latinos are affected by immigration is because they are not able to pay taxes and interact with todays economy. Then they can't go ahead and achieve their dreams. They cannot go on to finish their education. Which is why many Latinos want the Dream Act to become possible. If this occurs then they would be able to have better jobs and education and they would pursuit any lost dreams.

ReplyDeleteThe DREAM Act will help immigrant students be able to go to college but there are requirments to qualify. Latinos today are affected because cops think that all latinos are immigrants sometimes they don't ask for papers at all. In the video I saw people getting pushed to walls without showing identification. I remember a time when I was 7 years old we were leaving my Aunt's house from a little get together we had. The cops stopped us after we got into the car and close to the highway and they thought my dad was an immigrant because he spoke spanish. The cops should do a better job in catching immigrants.

They couldn’t do that because they had no documents and were illegal in the U.S. Now you also have more knowledge and because of that the government came up the Dream Act. The Dream Act was a law passed to all immigrants that were illegal 16 and lived 5 years in the U.S. I t would make them legal citizens and give them scholarships to college

They fire the legal person, because therefore they can pay the illegal person $20 per hr, and instead of paying the legal person $40 an hr. They can pay two illegal persons.

Well, I think that all Latinos legal and illegal are affected by immigration a lot because; if you don’t have your ID or something that identifies you then they might deport you as an immigrant. One time they stopped my dad and asked him if he had his license or ID my dad luckily had his license and ID but I know that if he didn’t have that then they might have reported him as an immigrant. ReplyDeleteIllegal immigrants and legal immigrants are getting affected by the laws passed in the U.S. For one thing in Arizona because of the 1070 law now police will stop you because you look Mexican which in fact is racial profiling. This is affecting both seeming how immigrants will be stopped and deported back and will also affect their families (if they have one here) seeming how it could be the person deported was the one who worked for the family. This also affects legal immigrants for the fact that it could be that they get stopped when in fact they are trying to get to some place quickly. Immigration today is affecting countless people. First of all legal immigrants face harassment and constant policemen (or I.C.E.) asking to see their papers. Immigration is also affecting illegal’s for the fact that they come here to work but now it is hard to because you hear how the government is going into companies and asking each employ to show them their papers. Worst of all is the fact that immigration is affecting children. For one thing after completeing high school children from illegal families cant go to college for the fact that they need papers to get into one. Now there is the D.R.E.A.M. act which is proposing help to those illegal children but the fact that it is still not passed is ruining the dreams immigrants had to go to college or to see their children get a good education to get them some place.
ReplyDeletei feel that they are both effected by them being mexican. And coming from Mexico meaning that there is a 90% chance that their imigrants will cause problems. And, so if this is true their always going to be stoped by the police.When they also be in groups and hanging out on the corners maybe waiting for a friend, they stop you because the mexicans are known for being gang bangers. And for being the one hanging with one of them you find that now your a supspect you are now going to be watched.

Also that latinos that were born in the United States are being confused with imigrants even though they're not. If you are born here nobody should be saying that your an immigrant.They are not illegal because they have papers to prove that they were born here. People shouldn't judge if they don't know if what they are saying is true.
ReplyDeleteIllegal immigrants would feel very upset because they would get jobs that would pay a little about per hour, would be disrespected, and sometimes the immigrants would be deported back to their home where they started. The legal immigrant would feel the same thing, but would go and move on to get a life and job. In the video, people or immigrants would feel very depressed and lonely when people, mostly children, would be left alone without their family members. That would happen in the video.

A cording to the the dream act they have to have a rode to citizenship. This is a fair country and yet we don't show it. They deserve a fair chance too.

ReplyDeleteMost people say that Latinos are illegal because they don't come to America in an airplane.They come through trains.The Dream Act helps legal and illegal immigrants get the right education.It tries to give aliens a proper education.To make things fair though it has conditions.For example you have had to come in the U.S at the age of 5.Also have a good moral character.

I even have an Aunt from Texas she went to see my other Aunt like she died by Shooting Her. She wanted to See her one last time, and She's still trying to Find a Way to Cross to get to the United States to take Care of My Two Cousins in Texas which my Uncle is Only taking Care of them when he takes them to his Work.

One reason that they are affected is becuse maybe they have family that is going to get deported.Or maybe if your illegal your afraid to drive or work becouse if immigration gets you you loose your job and or if your driving you will loose the car and get deported and loose you family.

Immigrants today are stop by the police just because they are darker than others or because they look different. For example, if there is white guy that committed a fault but then there’s a Mexican guy behind him the police will stop the Mexican guy instead of the white guy who committed a fault just because he looks different. I believe that immigrants have unequal advantages because when a kid goes to school they might have some difficulty because the teachers don’t speak the kid’s language and he doesn’t understand all the things that the teacher explains. I think that immigrant struggle more than the kids that are born here because they don’t have the same struggles and problems.
ReplyDeleteMost legal and illegal latinos are affected by todays immigration because there is more officers that deport latinos and states are kicking out wether no matter if a latino is illegal or legal.Therefore i hate that because i am an immigrant and i can't imagine how "la migra" can be outside or not.So it isn't fair,plus they sometimes confuse legal latinos to illegal latinos.That's racism same as the ones who opposed to the dream act because the dream act gives immigrants their rights they deserve and the opportunity they had won for their hard working.

Illegal Latinos are effected because their children who aren`t citezins can`t get the education they need. This is why the Dream Act has been made to help chilfren of illegal immigrants. Thay allow them to go to high school and universities aslong as they are a certain age and are accepted by that high school or University. If they keep good behavior and other expectations they will have these things for life.

These Latinos are stopped by the police they have to carry on worried about being deported .based on this video it reminds me that these police officers aren’t fair to these people . In the video they feel as if they have too keep watch of what they do and were they are they think about how this can effect there family and how they were raised in that place since they were little and there they are being judge by the color of there skin .I remember that when I was going too Indiana with my dad a police officer had stopped another car and had asked to see his papers and this got me thinking about how all these people are treated and how these officers are so unfair to these people and how much these people have to go through ,with all those problems they have to face .
ReplyDeleteI think that life as immigrants is really hard because you are living in danger and you don’t know how you are going to survive each day. Some are scared of even going out of their own house because they are scared that someone might deport them or do something to them. People also take advantage of them and Latinos think that they can’t do anything since they are scared of calling the police. Even if they have diplomas for college they cant even get a job. Life as Latinos is horrible.
ReplyDeleteWell, I believe that latinos, both legal and illegal, are viewed as mainly illegal by view of immigration. The people from here view us as if we're "wet backs" or "Go back to the South!". Most latinos aren't even Mexicans and they view all latinos as Mexicans. we are all people, understand.

ReplyDeleteone of my moms friends was an immigrant she had kids because she thought if she had kids in America she could stay but the lanlord who lived there thought she was an immigrant so she called the immigration police and she was deported. Most mexican do believe this and when they get deported it is very hard for the legal kids.
I think that the video was sad for me because that kid seem so sad because he hated that he had to carry something that identified him as not a immigrant. Also how he dose not like the attacked of 1070 law. The dream act I about immigrants to get a change to go to school. I experience the my dad had to always carry his ID because of how he looked.

The legal immigrants are let free but the illegal immigrants are deported back to their home countries. The jobs are another big issue with immigration. Illegal immigrants are treated like dirt in their jobs. For example they don’t even get paid minimum wages, sometimes they don’t even get paid, and they can only get jobs which U.S. Citizens don’t want to do. Immigration sometimes doesn’t benefit the immigrant at all because some them could have a better life in their home countries.
