Song Theme Practice
Think of a song that has a strong message to it (that is not violent or sexual). Tell me the name of the song, the message, and give me one sentence from the song that shows the message. Be sure to explain how the song shows the message. Your response should be at least ten sentences long.

ReplyDelete"In the end", by Linkin park is that a person tried so hard but everthing felt apart. He got far but in the end it does not matter. He fought so hard but in the end it did not matter. Despite the difficulties the person had tried to overcome difficulties that came in his way. This song depits how a person feels when they did their best to be successful but then they failed.The person goes into depression because hes overwhelmed by the problems. But no matter how many times the person stood up, he felt down. But in the end he kept remembering the moments that he felt that way. Nothing matter when he tried he always failed and was not successful no matter how many times he tried. Problems overcome and in the end a person becomes depressed instead of looking for solutions.
ReplyDeleteThe song that I pick is "Loser Like Me." "'Cause I know one day you'll be screming my name and I'll just look away that's right, just go ahead and hate on me and run your mouth". This is about people that have problems at school and the only way they can actually pay back is by singing their songs. But the people beating them up think they are even bigger losers when they sing their songs. It's also about them paying them off when they get a better education or maybe even being a superstar. But what I think is cool about them is that they dom't talk about beating them back. They take their maddest by singing or by talking. Also they only pay back them by words and they say not to get them ack just go your own ways.
ReplyDeleteOne of the songs that has a message that I like is a song call “Fly” by Rihanna. The message of the song is “Everybody wanna try to box me in suffocating every time it locks me in paint they own pictures than they crop me in but I will remain where the top begins cause I am not a word, I am not a line I am not a girl that can every be defined”. I like that message because it says that people might think that you are not important. Or that you don’t belong there but you know that you are more then an other person. That there is noting that can explain you. That you are more then awesome or fantastic because there is no word to describe you. That you shod always know that you are special no meter what. People can say anything about you ether good or bad cause you know that you are better then them. I think is an awesome song because when you lessen to the song when you had a bad day you feel better and you don’t feel sad anymore. Anybody that thinks that they are being left out sod lessen to it so they can know that they are awesome!

DeleteA song that i know that has a message is "babe" from Justin Bieber. The message that it has is that it says "Ithought youll be mine". What I think about this message is that like I liked someone but that person was with somebody. Also this makes me think that that person was with somebody. This makes me feel bad because that person wasnt with me even though that person liked me.

ReplyDeleteThe song I choosed was "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.The message was that even thought your loved on is gone you loved them for a long time and here is part of the song "I have died every day waiting for you darling dont be afraid i have loved you for a thousand years"I think that from this little part from the song shows that she has been waiting for her loved one and she still loves her loved one even thought she has not seen him.This makes me feel a little bit sad because you wait and wait and even tought you miss somebody you still love them becouse your hearts a connect together and you still love each other.

The message of the song is that the guy takes the girl the way she is or acts, but the boy doesn’t really care he loves her the way she is. The quote that shows that message is “And you take me the way I am” and on the drawings the girl is dressed like a nerd but he likes her either way.

Because the message says “And if I die before I wake, I pray the lord my soul to take. But please don't cry, just know that I have made these songs for you .” This means that god has your soul. And your soul it is in a good place. So you shouldn’t worry about death. Just have fun with your life when you still have it. People have fun with your life. But don’t worry about death because it might be a good feeling.

The line "The show goes on all night" makes me realize thats the message. This song shows how he lived a ruff life, but he still didn't gave up. ReplyDeleteA theme of the song is that it doesn’t matter how you look because it’s the inside what counts. If someone doesn’t like you for who you are then you ignore them because they just want to see you mad and/or sad. You shouldn’t be ashamed of yourself because you are not ugly. People see you for who you are not for how you look. A lot of people dress differently so you shouldn’t be ashamed of how you dressed.

What i think that it means is that people always try to fit in way too much and end up being all by them selfs and fell left out.

ReplyDeleteOne day I saw a little kid getting beat by some tuff guys. He would get beaten every day after school. I think “Not Afraid” by Eminem shows a strong message. The message is standing up for yourself and facing your problems. In the song it says “I`m not afraid to take a stand everybody come take my hand”. By saying that he means to take his hand and stand up for yourself or what you believe in. In the song it also says “we`ll walk this road together through the storm whatever weather cold or warm just letting you know you`re not alone.” By him saying that he means the storm being you`re problem and when he says “whatever weather cold or warm”. He means no matter what you can get through it. I think this song has a very strong message. This is why I chose “Not Afraid” by Eminem as my song essay. I recommend it to anybody with problems with anything.

A song that I think has a strong message is "Bring me to life" By enenesense. She is lonely and wants someone to love her. Then, the lead singer from Linkin Park comes and she accidentaly falls of a building and in the end, it was all a dream.

ReplyDeleteThe song that has a strong message and it’s not violent or sexual, it is called ‘’Who says?’’ it talks about no matter what people think about you, you don’t have to change who you are, no matter what. ‘’ Who says, who says you’re not perfect, who says you’re not worth it, who says you’re the only one who’s hurting.’’ This song explains the message by telling people to not change yourself by having people tell you who you are or what you are. So don’t change yourself just because someone told you something mean about you.

The song price tag is about the world and how money effects everyone. This song is important because it tells how people shouldn’t be greedy. It also tells how money is not everything. In the verse~

It tells that every one spends money .It also says that money and everything they spend comes first than everything! They also say “And the truth come second” that means that they spend money and then they care about everything else. In the other verse~
“why is everyone so serious acting so dam mysterious got shads on your eyes and your hells to high you can’t even have a good time!”
She is saying that everyone acts like they care but they really don’t care! That’s why they say they “got shades on their eyes and their hells so high”
A song that I know has a message is 2pac “Dear Mama”. This song message is that you should glad you have a mom that care for you. Even though she doesn’t really have a lot of money she gives you food, shelter, and most of all love. In the song it says “Cause when I was low you was there for me” That is saying that when you are sad your mom always makes you feel better.

Well the song that has a strong message it is called “we are the world” ft Michael Jackson and other great celebrity. The strong message it has that we should come together when people need help. This song is for Africa when the hurricane happened. One of the lyrics is “we are the we are the children we are the ones who make a brighter day so let’s start giving”. That is a song that has a strong message for me .

I think this means that people should not throw stuf in the streets and not draw grafiti.The bigger problem we have is companies who are wasting oil from the ground and destroying the earth to get it. To help fix it we could write letters to oil companies, protest, and stop the digging. We could also stop using so much oil.
