  1. The danger in forgetting about the Holocaust is how the people suffered how the people were tortured and how the people were treated really badly. If we forget about the Holocaust we will forget of the people that suffered during the Holocaust and how they remained strong for their famalies which the people still had faith that their famalies were still alive but many weren't but that kept the people fighting between life and death like Sonia Schreiber Weitz her sister helped her remain alive because they were together they had to live for each other they had to watch each others backs because they were in the same place and their parents were killed so they had to care for each other and love each other because that was the only thing they had to fight for thier love as sisters.

  2. The danger in forgetting holocaust is to repeat it and make another holocaust all over again. There is the danger of people being massacred and tortured. Just because someone is of a certain religion or race. They would be tortured to the point where they are begging to die or have given up hope completely. Th danger of forgetting and possibly repeating the thing that will make the world never be the same again. That is the danger of forgetting The Holocaust.

  3. The danger of forgetting the holocaust is that if we forget it could happen it again. If people don't learn about it they wont know a major part of history. What happened in the holocaust was a very important event that shows how cold hearted people can be,And that if not told someone will attempt to do it again.

  4. The danger of forgeting is that it is a big part of history. If someone forgets no one else could tell us what happened to the victims during the halocaust.

  5. The danger in forgettinq about the holocaust is that people will then forget this happened and there could be a chance it will happen again if the peope do forget. When the survivors speak of what they went through and what they would see they dont just speak for it for people to feel pitty for them they say it so that people understand what they when through so that no one would ever have to go through it again. They also mention it so that when theyre gone and there is no survivors the people that learned about it could tell others what happened so that it is always remebered and never forgotten. Even people today still believe that the Holocaust never happened and it was al made up just so that people could have their own history, but in reality a lot of people died and those who survived where left with nothing. That is why it is important to know what had happened to the people from the Holocaust so that this even won't occur again.

  6. I think that the jews went through alot to escape the holocaust. I also think that the jews will remember the holocaust until death because of how the nazis mistreated them. the stories that the survivors told were very intesresting.the survivors were very brave and they expirienced many concentration camps they had gone to.

  7. The danger in forgetting about the holocaust is that a whole bunch of jewish people were killed for no reason. the only reason that they used was because they were jewish. How could people forgett the holocaust it was the worst thing to happen. As we are living today there are jewish people that lived through the holocaust and nazi soldiers who killed jews.

  8. As one famous quote goes(or how I think it goes)if we don't pay attention to the past, we'll make the same mistakes in the future. I believe that if we forget about what happened in the holocaust, I fear that some one else Will do the same thing. The Holocaust was very very bad, and i know that I'm not the only one that doesn't want this terrible event to happen again.

  10. after me viewing the video th danger in forgetting about the halacost is that you keep to all the bad things in your brain and that it will affect your life by bringing you bad memories.that will stay in your mind for a long time maybe it will affect you babies because of curse one time they will ask you about the past and they will keep telling their family and if you alredy had childrens and they died there of curse you will remember about them because only nonhuman peaple could be able to forget about something that really change your life.well i think those are several ways that the halacust can be in danger.

  11. the danger in forgeting about the holocaust is that people will start to think that it was not true. Also i think that you will forget about being an upstander.people think that somthing like that could not happen but it can.

  12. The danger in the holocaust is when people who experience the concentration camp. For example a lady who was in the concentration camp was soooooooooo skinny that she had different types of deseases like turberculosis. She got to see people die in c.camp and for the first time she saw an African american man. That African American saved her from the c.camp. but then she never heard of that man and that's why she wrote him a poem. That was so touching to me.

  13. I THINK THAT THE DANGER OF FORGETTING THE HOLOCAUST IS THAT MANY PEOPLE TRY BY BUT THEY REMEMBER HOW PAINFULL IT WAS JUST TO SEE HOW THEIR RELATIVES ND FRIENDS WERE KILLED IN THEIR VERY OWN EYES ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE JEWISH SO I THINK THAT ITS HARD FOR THEM TO FORGET AND LIKE THE LADY FROM THE VIDEO SAID THAT SHE SAVED THOSE 4 PERSONS EVEN THOUGH SHE WORKED FOR THE NAZIS AND THE GENERAL OF THE NAZIS SAID THAT HE NEEDE TO KILL THE LADY ONLY BECAUSE SHE HAD SAVED THOSE 4 JEWISH BUT THE GENERAL SAID HE WOULDNT BECAUSE HE LIKED THE LADY SO MUCH THAT HE COULDNT KILL HER AND LIKE THE OTHER MAN SAID THAT WHEN HE WAS LITTLE THAT THE NAZI SOLDIERS GRABED HIM AND WERE GUNNA TAKE HIM BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT HE WAS JEWISH BUT SOME NICE GUY THAT WAS RIGHT THEIR PAYED 20 SUMTHING IN MONEY JUST TO LET HIM GO ANDTHAT WAS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF JEWS BEING SAVED BECAUSE OF UPSTANDERS AND SURVIVORS CANT FORGET THOSE PAINFULL DAYS THAT THEY LIVED THREW SO I THINK ITS HARD AND DANGEROUS TO FORGET ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST

  14. In the video of danger of forgetting Holocaust talks about how some people survived the concentration camp. For example their was an old lady that was a survival of the concentration camp she talked about how skinny she was and how she had alot of diseaes for example she had tuberculosis. The lady had to see how people were killed. she saw an African American men for the first time in her entire life. Well she said that that African American men saved her from the concentration camp. Then after that she never heard of him at all ever again.

  15. it is about how peolpe that experienced the holocaust and how their lives changed in the concentration camps. i remember that there was this old lady who was talking about how they kept changing her to diffrent camps and each time she was switched shewas more skinnier and more ill. in her story there was a theme "family&close relationships are important for survival" and for her her only family was her sister. everytime she switched her sister would cover her so the nazi wouldn't notice that she wqas pale and incredibly skinny. her sister was afraid that theey would throw her out.also she experienced a hero. she was lying on her bed very sick and an african american soldier helped her.in everyway she could. he would bring her anything he could and one day he had to leave to a diffrent place. the old lady wrote a poem after the war was over and it was deicated to the african american angel. the old ladys name was i believe waws sonia welts.

  16. Its about a video of the danger of forgetting the holocaust talks about how some person survive the c.c.One of the persons that survive was an sonia weitz who was so skinny and has decreases.that made her sick she survive by a black man who helped her and that was the first black man she saw .that's why she survive and wrote him a poem.

  17. You can not forget the Holocaust because of all the hard times the jewish people had at the camps. the jewish people were getting sick badly, and they wanted to escape the camps they wanted to get out of their nightnmare and have total freedom they dont want to be locked away in camps they want to be with their families and unite together againg and there will be no savior to save them. if i was in those camps i will go crazy because i cant escape the camp ther will be no savior to save us, and it will hard not to watch the germans hanging children and men with the germans yelling at you to watch them get executed.

  18. THE DANGER OF BEING OUT SIDE IN THE COLD WAS THAU THEY COULD OF FRES TO DETH AND THEY WOULD DUY IN THE COLD OF SO MANY KIND OF DESISES. THE THING THAT I FEEL OF THAT IS THAT THE PEOPLE WOULD TREET THEM BAD AND THE THING WAS THAT IF U DOME SOME THING BAD THEY WOULD GOTEN PONESHED.

It is important not to forget the holocaust because many people cant forget about what happened. Humans were being killed and burned alive. Even though there isnt many survivers from the holocaust it is still very important to remember something like this. Innocent people were being killed just because for being the person they were. And I think it is really hard to forget something like this years may pass but i dont think no one is ever going to forget about the holocaust.A lady who was a survivor told a story about when she was in a concentration camp. She said that her mother and father were killed in a concentration camp. She also said that while she was in the concentration camp she was really sick and i dont think that people are ever going to forget what these poor people went through.

  20. the danger of forgetting the Holocaust is because the children and every one else will not know how bad these people suffered. and to explain how people treated the jews, and how horrible it was that you could loose your whole family and become ill or die in those camps.they can teach the students and other people to be thankful of what they have n the people they have in there lives. in my opion the video was sad cause little kides died for no resson and no own protected these people when they were in need.the Holocaust has teached me how things have changed over years and i hope it would give people a change of mind of how things were and how lucky we are and that its not just some thing that you have to learn in school.

that wat I saw in the viedo is that people die because they die for no resons and in the vieo said that two litle kid gen in a rop because of no reson and one did suasides. I remember is a honoring that to remrmber about the people in the pass because they die for no resoms and some people cry because it was sad wat long time ago happend. That in the video said one doctor took two lady to a conser when they were better and the solder let them site on the chairs and the solders sit on the flore. The facts is that they did not one wat to do because alto of people were kiling there selfs and die of diss.

  22. Based on what I have seen in the video I believe that what is in danger of forgeting about the Holocaust is that by not knowing people will never understand the significance of prejudice. Also people who are not informed can go through this again wich is actualy happening in Africa.
If we forget about the Holocaust we may also make those who lived through it feel the same as what happend to them at concentration camps.
If we are informed we would learn about the way they felt like "stateless". We would also be able to teach our children about this showing them the importance of something that they were never able to see.
From my expirience I have learned that this situation was very horrible to live through. Showing us that knobody deserves or deserved to live this. Making me feel lucky to live in a safe place that before not even the government would be ablet o help you. Thinking they would help you and everyone let this happen making me understand the suffering they went through realizing that this is something to remember.

  23. The danger in forgetting about the Holocaust is that if we forget and move on it's like wise that another thing like that can happen again. Remembering is a form of honoring those who suffered in the concentration camps during the Holocaust. If we ever forget, we forget history and the people who passed away for no reason, only because they were a ceratin race. Many people lost too many things and suffered way too much for other people to not remember or to not care, in other words. We should always remember, as a sign of respect and honor, never forget because we wouldn't forget if it was us going through all that. The danger in forgetting is the fact that we'll just let in go and see it like nothing, just because we weren't the ones in those concentration camps.

  24. The danger of forgeting the holocaust is to forget something so devastating.Forgeting the holocaust isn't very easy and espetually the survivers who suffered their family death during the holocaust. The surviver in the video won't be able to forget how after being free from the camp they return them back to the camp.who could forget the il who ride a train for 16 days and some diying in the train.the people who are starving to death and not stand up for themeselves.

  25. What is the danger in forgetting about the holocaust is because many people dont forget about what happened back then. Also, because people had been there and seen people died there for no good reason.A lady told the story that many children lost their parent and many parents lost their children for a lot of reasons.People there see a lot of hunger, sadness, and diseases. A lady felt sick and didnt even want to move, but her sister pushed her and pocked her so she wouldnt fall and die.She even told us that when she was there she saw an Afriacn American and she never saw a person that was black before. And from point of view i thought that she said he was her knight and shiny armor. She even wrote a poem for him . The lady wants all the teenagers and young people to know what happened to them and how much they suffered while they were in the camp.

  26. The danger in forgetting the Holocaust is because of all the hard ship they want though. They we can’t forget how much suffering there was. If we do their jest mummers and no ones lives. We Americans do not know the word suffering but the people in the camps know the word suffering and deaths cold hand that never came. But think god death did not come or we would not know their story.

  28. The danger in forgetting about the Holocaust is that if the people that experienced it and survived it dont remember about it who is going to be the one that tells us more about it? We need to know how all of the people suffered and this will hopefully make us realize that we should be thankful that the world today well at least the U.S isnt so focued on nationalism as they did before with the Jews. The danger is that people are just going to forget it and move on with their lives like bystanders and wont do anything about it. They can teach us like I said before to be thankful that we dont have to go through all of that today. Also, if they forget, all of what the survivors experienced wouldnt be worth anything. At least all the suffering and sadness and hell that they had to go through should pay off and teach us a leason.

  29. After hearinq what the survivors had qone thru i think that the danqer in forqetting the Holocaust is because it might happend aqain. I belive it can happen aqain because durin the video i saw people with hunger, sadness, sickness, and some even died for not havin the enough food, nor qood mediations that they were suppose to be qetting. Thats what can happen to us if it ever happens aqain. Some lady in the video met the first Afican American and she believed that it was like an armor to her, and she wrote a poem for him.

  30. The danger in forgetting the holocaust is if people in the holocaust forget about it as years pass who are going to be the ones who are going to go on and tell it and pass it on to the people later in time. Also if everyone forgets the holocaust then probly to a person who survived it,it will be very much something the part of there lives in where their race sufered for being who they are.In not forgetting the holocaust this could help us to be thankful for what we have and who we are.Forgetting the holocaust is also something alot of people wouldn't want for it to happen because if they forget when anyone like Hitler want to do something just like the holocaust they won't know like what to expect or what to do.Also it helps alot that alot of people know about the holocaust because the jewish people will know more about what their ancestors had to go through and what all their religion faced and overcame.

  31. After viewing the video, and hearing evrything that happened to those survivors i think that the danger in forgetting the holocaust is that it might happen again. If the survivors dont tell people what had happened to them and about the holocuast the world will never know it happened or even existed. After being liberated, the surviving jews had no lace to go and this whole expireince this whole crisis and extirmination can happen to any one of us for no reason at all just like with jews. Forgetting or not even knowing of any of this will lead to it all over again. Or even worse and millions of lives shall be forgtten & along with them, the holocaust.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The danger of forgetting about the Holocaust is that if you forget no one will know about the horrors and things people had to deal with. It is just past things no one will ever hear about. The suffrage of the normal individuals who's lives where eventually changed for the worse. The events that transpire will have gone in vain if no one knows about what happened.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The danger in people forgetting the holocaust is that people learned a lot from it and actually gained some things too. In the film, it even says how some of them gained something in the end after being rescued and that most of the survivors were actually happy. 7 out of 8 jews were able to get there life back on track and some were able to find their families if they were not killed. They were able to make a village and have their lives back. If people forget about the holocaust, people would be forgetting about World War II and what the jews went through.

The danger of forgetting the holocoust is that if we forget it would just be treated like another part in history. Not that all history is not important but WW2 was something big,and the holocoust was a part of it.In it many Jews died, and some survived and tell their story. As well as to tell us what happened after like did they get their freedom back.Forgeting the Holocoust would be like forting your birthday. And people dont want to forget that because it is important and it was a big thing to not forget.

  35. The danger in forgetting the holocaust is that we need to know this because the survivors die everyday and then there will not be any left. Also because soon we are gonna die and we will not be able to tell people in the future bout this. We are witnesses because we are learning about the holocaust and hearing from survivors.

  36. The danger of forgetting the holocaust is that maybe some where in the u.s people still judge the jewish for their religion or something. the nazis were the ones invading the jewish, the jewish couldnt do anything about it they were forced to get out of their houses and into concentrating camps were they were treated badly from the nazis when bombs were droping the jewish people were happy they were ditroying the concentratinng camp.

The danger in forgetting the holocaust is that people can still have some dreams about it and those can be nightnmares that can hunt them. During the video there was a lot of people dying, getting sick, and suffering throught alot of stuff. In the video this woman meet an african american for the first time because before she had never meet a black person. Also people wanted to die but they couldn't untill it was their turn to die. I believe that they went through a lot and that they should be admired for what they went through because they suffered a lot and that should never happen again.

  38. The danger in forgetting the holocaust is really bad to forget the holocaust because alot of people suffer in hunger, and families get seperated and it could really affect everybody that is in that kind of situaution that they are facing at that point so I believe that those who has forgotten about the holocaust is in danger of this.

  39. The Danger in forgetting the Holocaust is that
you won't remember the innocent people that
died. The danger in forgetting the Holocaust also is that other people will want to hear your story of how you survived. The danger in forgetting is that you remember not to let those kind of people do it again. Also, to not
remember who were the people that saved you from the camp. The danger also is that you remember the people that did that to you.

    ReplyDelete
  40. It is dangerous to forget the holocaust because of the possibility of the holocaust happening again. There is too much horror to be able to repeat. The people being forced too watch people being hanged. Not being able to choose when u want to die. Their fate being determined when their"Master"decides to. That is the danger in forgetting the holocaust . THe fear of it being repeated once more. Or the sadness of people being stateless and having to steal to survive.

    ReplyDelete
  41. The danger in forgetting about the holocaust is that your forggeting about all the people who died. The most horrible that ever happen to humanity. Because in a couple of years there will not be any survivers to talk to. The whole generation of WWII will be gone.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think that what is in danger of forgetting is that the holocaust actually did occur while many try to prove that it never happened. Also what we shouldn't forget is that all the things that these people suffered just because they were Jewish and that this shouldn't happen again in the future. Also that we should help each other in times of need because we will be in need one day ourselves.(:

  43. In my opinion all the survivors are heores because they didnt loose hope and they passed threw difficult moment. The biggest danger in forgetting the holocaust is how the prisoners acted to survive, for example if they didnt try to commit homecide or any other thing you wont get kiil. Another example is that if your a prisoner than you must look for yourslef and get as much food as you can to survive.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The danger for forgetting the holocaust is very important. No one should ever forget what happened at that time because trully the world was not once what it was since then. People should never forget how much humanity lowered its self. Forgetting about the holocaust is like forgetting about how much the people suffered, how much they gave up for nothing. If we if any forget about this then we might resort to it again and this time might succed in Genecide. Thats why no one should forget about the Holocaust.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think that the dangers we can face by fogetting abbout the holocaust is that one man convinced people into hating a race of people. A man who saids that that won't happen again.People die in those camps and at first they didn't believe it. I think that can happen in present time.People might think its stupid if their is another holocaust but it happened once what's going to stop it from happening again. Also poeple should realized this is a big deal;especially to those who survived. So if people stopped thinking about the holocaust it's going to seem like some stupid thing that happened to the jews. No one will hting it's important; people will think its wasn't important and niether were the jews that suffered. So it's better if we remeber these events because they represent a big part ing history.

  46. Its important to remember the holocaust because we have to know how Jewish people were treated back then. The limits they were pushed and how some were able to live through it. And how all the problems people had were blamed on the Jews. Also were killed for no reason just because they were Jewish. Its dangerous forgetting about the holocaust because if it might happen again someday.

  47. What I have learned in the danger of forgetting about the Holocaust is that, Well it's history! It has happened and people choose to ignore it and pretend it never happened. They say
"Oh, It's a myth. Nothing real on that Topic... Who told you such a thing?!"
They dont believe that ,this huge problem that had chaos every where, actually happened!
If we forgot about this then who will be able to tell this story to anyone that they met. That person then passes it on and the past will stay alive. Yes, People say keep moving forward and forget about the past. But that's what we dont want to do we want people to know and believe that this IS real. Little by little the only surviors that are alive are becoming old or already old. There life could , not saying will! But God willing they live to more then 100 with a beautiful life, easliy stop at an end and there story could be forgotten letting the people that believe that nothing happened make sure other people believe that also. This holocaust story should live on forever and we should pass it on. Letting this story stay true. If it were to be forgotten , As I believe , this all could probaly happen again and this time not just jews. It could be more. People could let this happen all over again. This is why I belive that if The Holocaust were forgotten that we would be in danger of, In the present.

  48. The danger in forgetting about the holocaust is the fact that if we do so, we will no longer admire or care for these strong survivors. We will not care about what had happened in the past with the Jews. These survivors went through a lot and they made it all the way until this day. Like the person in the video said, the Jews were broken after the holocaust finished but they managed to put the pieces back together. They managed to recover what they had once had without any help. Therefore, we ,or at least I, consider them some very very strong people. These Jews lost many family members and during the holocaust they had suffered a lot in the concentration camps but they managed to stay strong and survived the holocaust. The danger in forgetting about the holocaust is that we will forget how brave and strong these Jews were.

    ReplyDelete
  49. From watching the video about the Holocaust the danger in forgetting about the Holocaust is the way the jewish were treated. They were treated bad as like they were getting killed. They didn't had no one to stand up for the Jewish. The Jewish seem like to have no life. They were in risk of death. Some didn't even eat food .They starved for days. People were killed if they try to assuciade Germans. They didn't had no way to get out of the Holocaust. They will never forget about the horrible things they went through.

I believe that the danger of forgetting the Holocaust is that if you forget it you are forgetting all of the things that made you what you are today. In the video it said that people would come out of the camps and expect to have homes and families, have everything back to the way it was. That never happened. If you forget the Holocaust you are forgetting all of the people that were killed just because of who they were, and those people were probably your relatives at that time. Forgetting the Holocaust would be like forgetting your life. In the video they were saying all of the things they made it through, so if you forget the Holocaust you forget all of the things that you accomplished and lived through. That is what I believe is the danger of forgetting the Holocaust.

  51. The dander of forgetting about the holocaust is the victims. The victims those prepatrading Nazi party really messed up the Jews culture. We cant forget it because people went thru that and some got traumatized or didn't like. In the video the lady said that this guy was hand because he wanted to commit suicide i mean that how bad those camps were. That why we cant forget the holocaust because real pople went thru that.

  52. The Danger In Forgetting About The Holocaust Is about the great survivors who never though they will actually be alive. They went trew difficualty momments that they wish it never had happen. When the war end it they lost everything there homes everything what they own. Many people are surprise of how they survived of the sickness and how bad they were treated in the concentration camp.It is just amazing how strong they were and didnt give up.

  53. Based on what i saw i think we should never forget about the holocaust.I mean it was really sad, more like a nightmare. How people lost everything.Their normal living, their homes, some family members and what not. For example that one man that lost 12 of his kids.or when Sonia mention how her mother and father were killed as well. From my own expririence i think we should always keep in mind how this people lived. What they went through. living in poor conditions. Especially how they mostly lived in the winter. And how 5 people slept together in a bunk. All crowded and stuff. It was pretty cold and slippery . They could of suffocated and die.People had diseases. They didn't belong to no one,no state at all. so they didn't had nobody that care for them. They dint had a place to go.no one that would help them. Family were separated. people were traveling from east to west from west to east just everywhere! people got into fights because each other stoled from one another. it was really something drepresing. I mean all these people suffer a lot.People were killed and killed over and over! Either they were burn or hang. Baby's,mens, womens just anyone. We should never forget the people in the holocaust. Especially the survivors. All Jews were victims then. Many people believe that the holocaust never happen. After all of this mess was over. Jews started to live their normal life's again. they started their own organizations. And it prepare them to become citizens.

  54. The danger in forgetting the holocaust is that in a couple of years. there wont be any holocaust survivors left. and if people forget about it it might happen again. so the people that survived have to tell younger people about it. so it never happens again.

  55. in this video that i just saw all does people lost their homes, family, everything that they own and their hopes. It was terrible, they were killing people their was dead bodies in the ground. The people choose the time for them to die, when they wanted too. There was war and killing.People wish that the holocaust will never happen but it did.It was very easy to die. There was no food.If they talk they be shot. They had to hang in there till they survive.Every time they read about the holocaust it brings them back memories about what happen back then.

  56. the danger in forgetting the holocoaust is that soon people will not belive in the holocaust. Soon the people that lived threw the Holocaust wouldn't be alive to tell them that it was really true. That it was not made up like some Nazi's said ir was.Another danger is that people would think that it wasn't a big of a deal when more than 6-12 million people died. They don't realize how many families were seperated or even killed. They also don't realize that it affected them more than anything in the world. They were tortured and hung because of doing something jewish. That everyone should keep in mind that the Holocaust destoryed many many families. That some people died because of the depression that they had because there family wasn't with them anymore.

The events that happened in the Holocaust were horrible. Innocent people were killed just because they where themselves. If we forget that the Holocaust ever happened an event like this could happen in later life again. In the video a survivor talks about what happened to her during the 5 camps she was in during the Holocaust. If people hadn't known about the existence of the camps, people will never know what terrible things these camps caused. With nobody knowing about that people might construct camps similar to the ones in the Holocaust without thinking about how much pain they will be causing.

  58. I believe that it is very important for us to talk & discus the Holocaust because then we forget. The danger of forgetting is that this really did happen & we have to be aware of what happened & is possible to happen again in our world! We have to be able to stand up, but in order to do that we must know about it.We had slavery before, then, concentration camps, & now.? We never know whats next. We dont want to be the next victims. If we forget about this & when it really becomes an issue that has to be dicuss more than it already is! What do say.? We really wont have a say if we dont even know what is is or what it was.!

  59. All the people who were survivors remembered about the Holocaust because like on of them said they don't want what happened to them to be repeated again. If one forgets then no one will know what has really happened in history and then people would believe that the Holocaust never existed. The survivors in this video had no compassion given to them, like the woman with her sister she herself said that with out her sister helping her she probably would have been tossed alongside the corpses and I think it dangerous to forget this because then when something similar to this occurs(which I hope never does)people won't turn their backs like they did with the jews. The holocaust shows how humans turned against each other and how people didn't care enough to help out and if this is forgotten then the Holocaust and it's survivors would vanish.Survivors are sharing their stories to young people so they know what happened to them as if they themselves where there(like one of the women said)to prevent and better our society.

  60. The danger about forgetting the Holocaust is that the new generation might forget or not know about it and someone could easily do the same thing Hitler did with the Jews. Another danger about forgeting the war is that maybe we people will forget what happened with the Holaucst just beacause we didn't want to get involved. Like the women said, we shouldn't forget about the Holocaust since theres always a evil person that longs to do the same thing Hitler did. In conclusion, the danger about forgetting the Holocaust is that someone could be plotting to do the Hitler thing, and we have to rember since if we dont, we'll be cowards in the time when a human being is in distress.

As another day in our life goes by, we don't seem to think that it is such a big deal. The truth is that we just don't realize how lucky we are to be able to have the privilege to live free, which is something that those who went through the holocaust didn’t have. Many didn't even have the chance to live to see another day because they were killed. The survivors of the holocaust lost almost or all of their relatives. Thousands of people suffered because of the concentration camps. One of the survivors in the video stated that she had lost eighty-four family members. She talked about the horrible time she had spent in five different concentration camps. She also had to watch others die, including babies and the elderly. The worst part of all is that humans themselves were torturing other human beings. The reason they were doing this was because the people were Jewish. At the time, many knew what was happening but were being a bystander. Others tried to help but couldn't do much for the victims of the holocaust. It's important to remember this day because it was something that is hard to believe and hard for the victims to forget. Worst of all, it was going on for years and not many knew about it so they couldn't help. Many people were tortured and killed. If we don't remember this day and pretend like it didn't happen, then something like this can happen again. Many might realize that very few people remember what happened and will think that it's okay if it happens again because no one will know about it. If it happened once, it could happen again.

  62. The danger of forgeting the Holocaust is that we are going to forget that due to america helping, they ended the war more sooner. If we forget we will forget how the jews suffered and how we helped them be free. If we forget it its like it never happened. If we forget we will no longer have in in our history of the war and the sufferment of all countries and all religious mostly the jews.

  63. It's a danger to forget because all the things Jewish people went through was hell. I think that if we forgot what happened to them that mistake might just happen again. They were practicably skeletons that weighed 60 pounds a child weighs that much. What about all the people who fought in the war who died from it died for nothing. They worked hard to stop Hitler so why would they want that to happen again. Also the Jewish people who suffered in those camps deserve to have been heard of how horrible they were treated!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I Think it's a danger to forget because all the Jews who died, died for a reason that that would make anyone question that ridiculous reason. Those who survived she be heard so that people from many places can learn how they suffered and how horrible that is. Hoping they can see some meaning of understanding in this. To think many have been effected and some are scared to say the horrible things that happened maybe saying it and explaining what happened in the 1930's and up to the end of 1945 would help on others rethinking about how others look like because it's inside that counts not how you look on the outside.

  65. The dangers in forgetting the Holocaust are many. Like the video said, the Holocuast shows humanity at its lowest. Never were there so many people killed, and the scar will remain. Also, the survivors tell us as a witness to never forget what happened and to not ever let it happen again. The point is to be upstander instead of keeping quiet so we can prevent things. An event like this changed the world forever, and it was never the same.

  66. THE DANGER OF FORGETTING THE HOLOCAUST IS YOUNGER GENERATIONS WONT KNOW ABOUT IT THEY COULD READ A BOOK ABOUT IT BUT IT AINT THE SAME AS TALKING TO SOMEONE WHO REALLY WITNESS IT SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE THE HOLOCAUST DIDNT HAPPEN IT WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST HISTORICAL THINGS IN THE WORLD

  67. The danger in forgetting about the Holocaust is that if these stories aren't heard they will be forgotten. And this is something big and important that everyone should know about and that should never be forgotten. We should all know about this so that we can learn of other people's mistakes and so that we can all learn that regarding the differences between us; we are all humans and should be treated the same.

As the years pass by the survivors of the holocaust are diminishing. This is a great danger because we won't have someone to tell the experiences of the holocaust. If we don't have speakers to tell us the cruelty we will eventually forget it. The holocaust is an important part of historu since it shows how a person could be so cruel. I think the way to show honor to the holocuast deaths is by learning about it.

The danger about forgetting about the holocaust is that there history wont be remembered in the future and they went through alot and deserve to be recognized. They deserve to be recognized because they suffered so much and some still survived.i think that those of the holocaust that did survive are amazing people. That is why i think they shouldnt be forgotten and should be recognized.

  70. The danger in forgetteing the holocaust is that even though this is the 21st century this can still happen.Forgetting about this and we wont know that it is happening again.since we forgot about it we womt realize that it is gonna happen once again.

The dangers of forgetting the holocaust is that if they dont remember what happened then they are going to think that its ok to do it over again. As if it never happened and they will get used to it and then then they will constanly keep doing that since they think that we forgot about the past. Memories can actually help remember the past and what went on during that time. Finally its just was fun to know things after its over to rememver the good times.

  72. The danger is that it was sad. I think it was sad because they were bad to them in the concentration camp. They sould of never treat them that way. Alot of kids die.Thats why is bad to the people . They were dieing and the survivers have it their memory. so its sad to them to. dos!

  73. The danger of forgetting about the holocaust,is that it talks about how people lived back then like in 1942.the jews people would be getting treated bad by the germans they didnt have cloth, money, food, homes or familys and if they did they would get killed for being jews.like a boy that got killed because he was singing a russian song.and a guy for trying to suecide him self got hanged and killed because he was not allowed to take his life away.

  74. The video "Danger in Forgetting" is all about how the jews would lived in the 1945's when Hitler tried to take over. They torcherd the jews like if they were'nt any humans. They would make them sleep in the snow. They would murder them for little resons.Like there was this kid that was just singing a russian song amd they hung him.A KID!!!!

  75. ITS IMPORTANT FOR NOT TO FORGET THE HALACOUST BECAUSE THERE WAS A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT SURVIVED AND A LOT THAT DIED BUT IT WAS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED AND IT WAS PART OF SOME LIFES. IT IS IMPORTANT NOT TO FORGET BECAUSE THERE'S STILL JEWS IN THIS LIFE RIGHT NOW AND DURING THE HOLOCAUST 6 MILLION JEWS DIED BECAUSE OF HITLER THAT HE DIDNT LIKE THE JEWISH PEOPLE. SO YEAH THATS WHY IT'S IMPORTANT OH AND THE DANGER OF FORGETTING ABOUT IT IS THAT JEWS MAY START DOING SOMETHING BECAUSE THEY KILLED PEOPLE.

The danger was if you remeber what happen in the Holocaust. Was because these people went through alot. The other states did not want to help them. but if i was in that time. I would help the people that needed help. i thought out of the whole movie was if i was in there shoes i whould not make it.

  77. The danger in forgetting about the Holocaust is that other generations won't know what these poor people went through in this concentration camps. Its also danger because they would not know if the Holocaust really actually happend. Everybody should know what happen to these poor Jewish people so that it won't happen ever again. Why did the Holocaust happen to these people no thing reason but the fact that they were Jewish. So there for its danger for people to forget about the Holocaust. I know I won't after seeing and hearing all the terrible things they been put and through.
p.s the video was very long.! and at the same time very sad :(..!!!

  78. If we forgot about the Holocaust or the people who witnessed the Holocaust forgot about it then we now would not know what happened in the Holocaust. One of the ladies said that out of all the selections or roll calls she remembers is one where a litle boywas hanged. Now since I have never seen a man nor less a boy hanged I can't possibly imagine this scene. It's like in Night where Elizer describes the scene of the sad angel.

The danger about forgetting about the Holocaust is that there still the treatment that there was back then. Not to the point were their are concentration camp but to the fact that people are being killed for who they are. Also it is important because they (survivors)didn't have to through a long and hard life just so that it could all be forgotten. The survivors are still here to tell us like the lady said how it felt to be freed of the concentration camp and not have any family members to reunite with. So this is for us to see if we were in their shoes during the Holocaust has happening and how it would feel. So that are some reasons why their danger in forgetting the Holocaust.

  80. The danger in forgetting the holocast is that many people where kill in the consetracion camps and that is a great part of history. One other reson is to see how those people safur in the hands of hitler. SO that what happpend to the juss dosent happend agand to us or to futer generations to come. And how after the holocast how the juss where able to get back to there lives but after the holocast the people where never the same, and how the survibers got throw the holocast and all they safur and how they survib.

  81. This video talks about how the people made the Jews leave their homes. Most of the people that left had small kids and they were a family but that dangered them because when they left it was a possibility that the family got seperated and the whole family suffered because they didnt know where to go when they didnt want the jews there.

  82. We have to remember the Holocaust, because alot of people suffered and died. We have to remember that life wasn't as easy back then, then it is now for us. People came out of the Concentration camps to find out almost their whole family were dead and not alot of those people had help their lives back in order.

  83. The danger in forgetting the Holocaust is that we will also be forgetting of thee people that suffered and die during the Holocaust and that will show that we don't care and as time passes be will totally forget what the Holocaust was. We aren't just going to forget the Holocaust, but we will also be forgetting the importance it had and the people that survive through the Holocaust because if we forget about them, then the people that survive will think "Why did I survive if no one remembers me, I should of have gave up and died," and that wouldn't be a nice feeling for that person after all the pain and work that person went through. After seeing those men, woman, and even children/babies die and their own family members die. We should at least remember the Holocaust for that reason. For all the Jews that die in the Holocaust.

  84. It's important not to forget the people that suffer under the devil's rules. The holocaust went through a deadly adventure , the germans literally took everybody in the prison to come out and see a little kid get killed by being hang in front of everybody and just because he tried stealing bread . That's too crazy to forget what had happen to the innocent and going under some one's command.today the Germans are remorse after they had done and the holocaust shall never be forgotten

  85. The danger i forgetting about the holocaust is that if you forget you won't know anything of Hitler or his Nazi party. Also we wouldn't know about all of those survivors' stories and the suffering. The world would be different if the people will belive that the holocaust never exiscted maybe a sencond Hitler would be around and killing anyone he didnt like. Like with the Jewish people but maybe this time it would Mexicans or African-Americans, ect. Also maybe the children of today wouldnt be alive. With no freedom At All. No one would know what is it to be free by not being punished killed everyday.

  86. Its important not to forget the Holocaust because if we do, then something like the Holocaust can come and happen to us without us even knowing about it. Also, these survivors of the Holocaust are here to tell us their story, so that we know what happened and we can pass it on. It's like we are the witnesses without being there since the story is told to us. I mean it's not like this is just some other dumb event that happened. It involved all these humans being tortured and treated as if they were animals. Wow, without these survivors here to tell us, then we'd have no clue of what's possible in this crazy world.

  87. We have to remember the holocaust because many people died and because we dont want that to happen again. It was bad because they were all innocent people, and didnt deserve to die. The danger of it is that it could happen again.

  88. The danger in getting about the holocaust is that if you forget what happen you would do what happen im the holocaust wich is wrong because that was just unfair to wat they did to the jews because they are people just like us and they dont deserve to be trited wrong and diffrent than the others and it wasnt fair that they had to live in a horable place just because they are a diffrent race or somehting like that wich means that if you treat some one bad by torchering you should remember about what happen in the holocacaust because that was wrong and unfair.
