Theme Practice

Explain the theme (large message/lesson about life) that the person who made this poster is trying to communicate. Explain what the theme means by giving at least two examples from your life. Make the connections specific and clear.

Blog Expectations

In order to ensure that you know what grade you are earning on your blog entries, I am going to make my criteria as clear as I possibly can. Here is what I expect from a good blog entry: -You restate the question again so that the answer can stand on its own. If your response needs the question in order to be understood, you will not receive full credit. Ex. Was Mose Wright a bystander, upstander, victim, or perpetrator? Start of answer: Mose Wright was a couple of different roles from the spectrum of human behavior. For example, he was a bystander because________________ -You have a development of ideas in your answer. Not only do you give examples, but you tell me what the examples show. You also share with everyone your thoughts and judgments about the topic you are asked to write about. Keep this in the back of your mind in terms of grading: -3 sentences or less = 50 percent -4-6 sentences=75 percent -7-9 sentences=85 percent -10 sentences + deep insight and thought= 95 percent Finally, at the end of the paragraph you should have a concluding sentence. Ex. Because of his actions, I believe that Mose Wright was all of those roles from the spectrum of human behavior. BLOG ENTRIES SHOULD TAKE YOU ABOUT TWENTY MINUTES. JUST BECAUSE IT GETS DONE DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU GET FULL CREDIT. DO YOUR BEST!
